Welcome to Threads n Tails, the shop that specialises in products for your furry friends. Everything is made with your pets comfort and safety in mind, and is tested by me (Kate) and (much more extensively) by my rabbits!

The business began in 2020 when I dusted off my sewing machine and started making facemasks for friends. Demand soon grew, so I set up a shop on Etsy and Facebook, but the business really took off when I started specialising in bunny fabrics.

I then moved on to designing specialised blankets for rabbits, that would withstand their destructive traits. The first design was the elasticated blanket for the Ikea ‘dolls’ bed. The inspiration came as I was having to re-make my rabbit's bed a few times a day, so I thought there must be a way to bunny proof bedding, and so the elasticated blanket was born!

My ethos is to ensure 100% customer satisfaction, and every item is handmade to order.

I work closely with 2 rabbit rescues (Littlest Lives Rescue, and Bunnies in Need) by donating items for raffles, and donating funds to them, so every item you buy helps a bunny in need of care 🧡
